An outlying suburb of Seattle, the city of SeaTac is named for the combination of Seattle and Tacoma and is made up of 10 square miles. The area has a population of around 27,000 people and includes the communities of Angle Lake, Bow Lake, McMicken, and Riverton, which were established before the city’s official incorporation in 1990. Within the city is the popular Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, which is classified as the 15th busiest airport in the United States!
