Green Lake

The popular Green Lake neighborhood in north central Seattle surrounds the park for which it was named and is bordered by N. 85th Street and Licton Springs to the north, N. 50th Street and Wallingford to the south, Interstate 5 to the east, and Highway 99/Aurora Ave. N. and Phinney Ridge to the west. The neighborhood was annexed into Seattle in 1891 after a trolley line was installed that extended from Fremont to the north end of Green Lake.
